     Welcome to AgencyNurseTalk.com.  I created this website after becoming extremely frustrated with the lack of knowledge available to us nurses that work per diem and contract agency jobs.  It's often difficult to know whether or not you're getting treated right when compared to other agency nurses.  Some of us are paid high salaries for per diem work and others are barely making more than a staff nurse working full time.  Some of us work for agencies that treat us right and some of us work for the "agency from hell."  To get better information about all things "agency nursing", we must communicate with each other and share our knowledge of the good and the bad.  We must also encourage other nurses wanting to transition into agency nursing by providing them with accurate information regarding our chosen line of work.
